Carr Construction, Inc. is a specialty contractor engaged in the erection of structural and miscellaneous steel for commercial and industrial buildings since July 1986. We are a union contractor signatory to Pacific NW Ironworkers Locals 29 and 86. Our bonding capacity of $20,000,000 is a privilege that has been afforded to us due to the quality of professionalism that we've demonstrated throughout the years. Our wide variety of projects have ranged from $50,000 to $16,500,000, including healthcare, museums, K-12 education, high-rises, industrial facilities, parking structures, high tech, transportation, security and detention, seismic upgrades, mixed-use, and many more.
U O STUDENT RECREATION CENTER
Furnish and install a 90,000+ sq. ft. addition which houses new basketball courts, swimming pool, bouldering wall, locker rooms, and other facilities. A large miscellaneous metals package that contained skylights, vertical sunshades, cable railings, exterior facade supports, and stairs was subsequently added to Carr's original contract.
EVERGREEN WINGS AND WAVES WATER PARK
Structural steel and bracing on a single story building with mezzanine. When partially erected a 747 jet was placed on the columns and remainder of the structural steel was erected beneath the airplane. Additional welding was performed to assist in the precast concrete connections.
EXPERIENCE MUSIC PROJECT
Erection of a multifaceted exhibit hall at Seattle Center. The 140,000 sq. ft. building's structural members are custom-built steel ribs which match the exterior contours. Work included the bracing of non-supporting steel ribs until tied to the structure. Parts of the structure are built over the existing monorail of Seattle Center.
